If the holiday season has a smell (which I guess it kind of does), this is it. Over the winter period in much of northwestern Europe, holiday gatherings are often made all the more cheery with a batch of warmed red wine fortified with spices and citrus. This one is based on a family recipe handed down by our founder’s Swedish grandmother. Definitely best with a full-bodied, fruit-forward red wine and maybe a little nip of brandy or Swedish aquavit to turn things up a little. Skal!

Infuses
750ml of red wine or non-alc (= 6+ drinks)

Infusion Time
20-30 mins, strain & serve

Ingredients
Orange Zest, Cinnamon, Ginger, Cardamom, Clove, Allspice, Elderberries - no sugar, gluten, dairy, nuts, additives, or preservatives

Recipe
Mulled Wine/Alternative + Sugar + Brandy/Vodka (optional).
